MARK YOUR CALENDAR!!!!!

“Cheetos Time Machine”

A Fun Musical Play Based on American History…
Performed by 4th and 5th Grade Students of Quakertown Elementary

Fourth and Fifth Grades at QE are putting on a MUSICAL SHOW based on US History!

This event will be dedicated to Veterans and those currently serving in any branch of the US military...

Wednesday, June 3 - 7:30 PM

Quakertown Elementary School

Dear Parents and Friends of Q.E.-

We need your help to make this a very special evening.  Please help spread the word... invite relatives, friends, and neighbors.  If you know any Veterans or currently serving military persons, give them a special invitation to attend (in uniform, if possible) since the students will be honoring them at the conclusion of the show.

Parents/Grandparents/Guardians/Families:  We need volunteers!!  If you are interested in helping with costumes, please send your contact information to Mr. Wysocki.  We need 2 or 3 adults who can come to school during the day to help with costumes.  We are borrowing many costumes, which will need to be fitted and matched to approximately 90 students.  We will need help with some costumes (especially Native American costumes), so your creativity is needed.

Also needed-- Volunteers to sell Cheetos and Drinks during Intermission.  Proceeds will benefit the Q.E. Scholarship, which will benefit a college-bound senior who went to Q.E. during their elementary years.  Please send in your contact information if you are able to help!

MOST IMPORTANTLY...  In order to be a success, we need support from EVERY FAMILY!  This kind of an event will be a huge team effort.  Please plan to attend and show your support.  Please encourage your child to work hard to learn lines, song lyrics, and practice their acting.  ALL students will be needed to sing in the chorus, which is the key part of a musical play.  No part is too small!!

The play will be performed in TWO ACTS with an intermission in the middle.  We are hoping that, given the advanced notice, you can ask to be excused from any sports, scouts, or other commitments on the evening of June 3.

Thanks, everyone for your enthusiastic support!
Mr. Wysocki, Mrs. Held, Mrs. Reidi, Mrs. Pierce
