1. PSSA TESTING next Monday, April 11.
2. SERTOMA Heritage Essay is due on Wednesday.
This is a contest
sponsored each year by the Service To Mankind organization here in Quakertown.
Students are asked to submit an essay of approximately 200 words with the
title, "My Hero". A winner is chosen from each school
to receive a gift card. Winners will be celebrated at a special breakfast
on May 19th.
3. 4th and 5th GRADE MUSICAL PLAY
7:00 PM on the stage at QE!
The production this year
is entitled, "A Bus Journey to America". The play features Q.E.
students who discover their family roots and some of the wildly interesting
history that has helped the USA earn the nickname, "Melting Pot". The play is an extension of our Social
Studies curriculum on US History. What a wonderful way to learn!!
